PCMC’s Emergency department is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Our staff of highly skilled and experience medical professionals are proficient in advanced life support for all types of emergency situations. When every second matters, you can trust PCMC.
Emergency Services
PCMC offers a variety of emergency services, including, but not limited to:
- 24/7, on-site, diagnostic imaging services (Computed Tomography (CT) scans; Digital X-ray; and, Ultrasound)
- 24/7, on-site laboratory services
- Cardiopulmonary monitoring
- Respiratory treatments
- Stabilization
- Transfer, if necessary, to a higher level of care.
The hospital’s Emergency Department is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to handle emergencies. Emergency healthcare is a crucial function of PCMC and the department is equipped to treat all types of injuries and illnesses. For those cases that require a higher level of care than available in the area, PCMC can quickly facilitate transportation by helicopter or ground ambulance to a tertiary center.

The Emergency Department at PCMC accepts most healthcare insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
